Physiotherapy (often abbreviated to PT) is a health care profession that remediates impairments and promotes mobility, function, and quality of life through examination, diagnosis, and physical intervention (therapy using mechanical force and movement).

Why Physiotherapy is important?

With more moving parts than any other machine, it is not surprising that your body occasionally cries out in pain or refuses to do what you tell it. There are hundreds of different muscles and joints that can go wrong.Fortunately, there is an effective way to treat many of the problems you may experience – physiotherapy. Physiotherapy uses a variety of techniques to help your muscles and joints work to their full potential, helping to repair damage by speeding up the healing process and reducing pain and stiffness. Physiotherapists do not simply offer treatment - their advice can help you prevent problems returning or even happening in the first place.

Pilates is a method as the art of controlled movements, which should look and feel like a workout (not a therapy) when properly manifested. If practiced with consistency, Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength in the abdominal and back muscles and develops control and endurance in the whole human body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong powerhouse, and improving coordination and balance.

Pilates' system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginner to advanced or to any other level, and also in terms of the instructor and practitioner's specific goals and/or limitations. Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercises. It is great for people with chronic back problem, poor posture or reduced flexibility. We run Pilates classes in the morning and evening time too. We provide one to one Pilates sessions for clients, who can not commit for 6 weeks because of their busy schedule, have certain health issues and are unable to execute certain exercises or are pregant (from 12th week on), so they get special attention.

If you have tight muscles caused by stress, repetitive movements, too much sitting, driving, trainigs or old injury, massage could be the solution for you.

Massage can promote relaxation and well-being. We can provide deep tissue massage or more gentle, relaxing massage.

During the 30 minutes massage we usually have time for the back, neck and shoulder area (or if you are a runner, it can be changed to the legs).

If you choose the one hour full body massage, we can work on your back, legs and arms and we can focus on your on your tightest area of course.

If you need massage regurarly, you can also pay upfront for 5 massage sessions to get a great deal.
